Student Stabbed At Brockton Special Needs School, Teen Arrested: Police

A student at Brockton Therapeutic Day School at Huntington was stabbed Thursday morning, March 16, authorities said. 

A 17-year-old student at Brockton Therapeutic Day School was stabbed on Thursday morning, March 16. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening, and he is being treated at a nearby hospital with school administrators by his side.

Police were called to the 1121 Warren Ave. school just after 9:30 a.m. to reports of an assault and battery with a knife, officials said. Police described his injuries as not life-threatening, and he is being treated at a nearby hospital with school administrators by his side. Officials said he is alert and responsive. 

A 17-year-old was arrested in the incident. 

Police did not release either of their names.
